Growing up on the streets of York City, Pennsylvania has been an experience.  Living in a closed in urban area that wasn’t ever made for such an existence, including tensions from the race riots of 1969, the crime far outweighed the police but he kept striving.  In high school he went to the local urban high school and being from the hood himself and knowing typically everyone, he just did him.  Balancing grades, relationships and being a star quarterback wasn’t an easy task but the rapper now known as M. O. (Shamar Mosley) concurred all.

Shamar has always been around the music scene with his older brother D-Will of Native Son Entertainment always in studios, business meetings and recruiting artist, music was always in his blood.  Shamar at the age of 16 quickly came up with a plan to prove he had the skills to be under Native Son Entertainment as a legitimate artist.  He started working and taking his money to secretly go to the studio.  Once Shamar had 20 songs done he presented his work to Native Son and emerged as M.O. adopting the philosophy “Money Over Everything”.

M.O. soon after joined the well known east coast rap group “CASO”, opening for D-Block, Drag-On and Juelz Santana.  That experience has really groomed him and taught him a lot about the entertainment industry.  He has put out two mix tape CD’s and received phenomenal responses which lead him to currently work on his first album called “My Life” which spun the single “Fight” off that CD.  M.O. understands that to be a true artist you must be able to write songs, so he talks to the ladies, manhandles dead beat dads, flows with the hood and bangs out on the club circuit.  So look out for his talents at a hood near you.
